KB00016 - What to do with a sticky I can't grab with the mouse

Problem

Sometimes a sticky can end up so that you can only see part of it, and the title bar is off-screen so you can't move or close it.

Resolution 1

Right-click the Stickies task-tray icon (next to the clock), and choose Rescue Offscreen. The sticky is moved into the middle of the screen.

Resolution 2

If that doesn't work, click on a part of the sticky you can see, and use a keyboard shortcut to move or close it:

• Hold Alt and press the arrow keys to move it

• Press control-d to close it
